Finally finished that one anime I've been slogging through for 6 months

I started watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes back in March and hit a huge slump around episode 60... it just felt like nothing was happening. But I pushed through the last 30 episodes this weekend and the payoff was actually worth it. Anybody else have a series that took forever to click for them?

Man, 110 episodes is a commitment for a show that doesn't grab you.

Yeah, that's rough. I tried getting into it once but couldn't make it past episode 20. Way too many filler episodes that just dragged on forever.
