Anime spots are too crowded now for a good visit

My last trip to a famous anime location was packed. It made the experience feel cheap and rushed.

But honestly... the crowds are part of what makes it real now. That energy, everyone loving the same thing, it's like the place is alive instead of just some quiet spot. Sure it's busy, but sharing that moment with other fans can feel more special than having it all to yourself. The popularity is proof the art mattered enough to bring people together. You're not just visiting a location, you're joining a big, loud, messy fan club right there. Maybe that connection with other people is the whole point.

Look, crowds come with the territory when a spot gets famous. Remember visiting the Suga Shrine stairs after Your Name blew up? Yeah, it's a zoo now. But is that really a bad thing? It means the art connected with people. You can still go early or on weekdays to avoid the worst. It's just part of how things are when something gets big.

I mean, idk, but to me crowds totally kill the vibe. When somewhere gets famous like that, it stops being about the art and just becomes a tourist trap. Sure, you can go at weird times, but then you're just dodging people instead of connecting with the place. It feels like the real meaning gets lost when everyone's pushing for a selfie. Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't seem worth it just because something got popular.
