A guy in a forum thread told me my anime recs had no pacing notes, so I started adding them
I used to just drop titles in rec threads with a one line "it's good, watch it" and call it a day. About 4 months ago someone replied to one of my comments with "this tells me nothing, is it a slow burn or does it hook you in the first 3 episodes?" and honestly they were right. Now I write down how the first few episodes flow before I suggest anything, like whether it drags in the middle or jumps right in. It takes me maybe 10 extra minutes but people actually reply now. Does anyone else keep notes on pacing before they recommend stuff, or am I overthinking it?
