Why I stopped trusting the motion sensor test button
Last month in Austin, a customer's sensor passed the test button fine but then a stray cat set it off at 3AM, so I walked every zone with a ladder and a heat gun before I'll call any job done.

Test buttons only check the wiring, not the sensor's real range.
