Stayed at a hotel in Omaha and their fire panel setup was a real eye opener
They had a Notifier panel in the main office, but the pull stations were all the old style with the glass rods. Saw a guest try to open a locked exit door and hit the glass by mistake. The alarm went off, but the front desk guy had no clue which zone it was. Made me think about how many places still mix old and new tech without proper training. Anyone run into this on a service call?

Honestly that sounds like a normal Tuesday. Most places have a weird mix of old and new stuff, it's just how buildings are. The front desk guy probably just hits silence and calls maintenance, no big deal. Unless there's a real fire, it's just a loud mistake.

Yeah, the fire alarm is basically just the building's way of saying it's bored.
