Noticed something odd at a casino job yesterday

I was running a panel swap at this small casino outside Reno and spotted they had the old alarm keypad still mounted behind the bar, right in plain sight of customers. Nobody had bothered to disconnect it, so the backlight was flickering all night and pulling attention. I asked the manager about it and he said it's been like that for three years, guests think it's some sort of slot machine display. Has anyone else run into abandoned keypads that just get left up for decoration? I charged them an extra $75 to take it down on the spot and they acted like I was doing magic.
