Just cracked a 2 month old wireless sensor mystery in one afternoon
Had a job in Tacoma where a commercial door sensor kept going offline at 3am every night. Customer swore it was the panel. Replaced batteries, swapped the sensor, even rewired the zone. Nope. Turns out the cleaning crew was unplugging the nearby POE switch to run their floor buffer, and that switch powered the translator. Took me 7 visits and about 40 hours total before I sat in my van and watched their schedule on the camera system. Has anyone else had a dumb environmental cause like that eat up their whole week?
