Guy at the supply house in Tulsa told me to stop labeling cans and now I write zones on paper instead
I get why people push labels on every can and wire, but that advice cost me a service call. About 4 months back I spent a whole Saturday labeling a panel nice and neat, then the homeowner repainted the room names on me and half my labels pointed at the wrong doors. Now I number zones and keep a paper map in the panel door, takes 10 minutes instead of an hour. The supply house guy in Tulsa who set me straight retired last spring. Anyone else feel like neat labels are more for us than the customer?
