I actually just read a study that said like 60% of people get let down at least once a month with stuff like this. There was this whole article in Wired about how companies just don't care about customer service anymore, it's all about cutting corners. They had this example of a guy who waited 6 months for a refund on a broken laptop, and by the time he got it, the price had dropped by half. Makes you wonder if they even try anymore.
