My sister told me I was wasting my air fryer on frozen fries
We were at her place in Austin last weekend, and I was heating up some frozen curly fries in her air fryer. She looked at me and said, 'You know, that thing can cook actual vegetables from scratch in less time than those take.' I told her I tried Brussels sprouts once and they were soggy. She showed me her method: she cuts them in half, tosses them with just a little oil and salt, and cooks them at 380 for 12 minutes, shaking once. I tried it when I got home, and they came out crispy and perfect, not like my sad steamed version. It made me realize I've been treating it like a tiny oven for packaged food instead of using it to make real stuff fast. What other fresh vegetables have you guys had good luck with in the air fryer?
