Vent: My neighbor's air fryer chicken looked so dry at the block party
We had a neighborhood cookout in Mesa last weekend, and my neighbor Dave brought a whole batch of air fryer chicken wings. They looked crispy but also kinda pale and sad, like they needed way more time or a different temp. He said he did them at 400 for 15 minutes straight from the fridge. I didn't want to be rude, but I'm wondering if a quick brine or a higher heat start would help get that golden color without drying them out. What's your go-to method for juicy wings with good color?

Try a quick brine first next time.

Wouldn't a quick brine make it too salty?

Nah, just use less salt in the water.
