Unpopular opinion: my neighbor said to skip the preheat and my chicken thighs came out rubbery
She has been air frying for 2 years and swears preheating is a waste of time, so I tried her way at 400 degrees for 18 minutes. Now I preheat every single time, but I am curious if anyone else has gotten away with skipping it.
