My neighbor swore by using a little cornstarch on chicken wings

She told me to toss them in a bowl with a tablespoon of cornstarch before air frying, saying it would make them super crispy. I tried it last night with a pack of drumettes, and wow, she was totally right. The skin got way crispier than my usual method, and they weren't dry at all. Anyone have other simple tricks like this for wings?
