My mom told me I was air frying bacon wrong for 2 years and she was right

I was bragging to my mom about my air fryer bacon last week and she asked if I put it on a rack. I said no, just threw it in the basket. She literally gasped and said I was drowning it in its own grease. Tried her way with a rack thing I bought for $8 at Target and the bacon came out way crispier after like 8 minutes at 375. Made me wonder what other basic stuff am I messing up in this thing. Anyone else get called out by a family member for some dumb air fryer mistake?

Three pounds of bacon in a single batch, that's what I tried once. Ended up with this sad puddle of lukewarm liquid fat and little chewy strips that looked nothing like bacon. Took me an hour to clean the tray because the grease had baked into this weird crust. My dog wouldn't even eat it, and she eats literally anything. Air fryer does the job in 12 minutes flat, no soggy mess, no grease disasters.
