My air fryer turned into a science experiment with frozen fries
I mean, I had to pick between the bag's instructions for 400 degrees or my friend Jake's 'trust me bro' method at 380. I went with Jake's idea and ended up with a batch of fries that looked like pale, sad shoestrings after 15 minutes. Has anyone actually gotten those crinkle cuts from the freezer aisle to come out right without following the box?

Yeah, the box is usually right, I learned that the hard way too.

Oh man, did you try to eyeball the temperature or something? I did that once with a frozen pizza and it came out like a hockey puck on the bottom and raw dough in the middle. I thought I knew better than the box but nope, it was totally on me. Now I just trust it for everything, even the little things like resting time. The box has never let me down since, honestly.
