I finally tried preheating my air fryer for 5 minutes like the manual says
My sister insisted I was ruining my chicken by not preheating, and after 3 batches of dry wings I caved, now they actually stay juicy, has anyone else fought the preheat battle?

The preheat battle is real and I lost it too for way too long. My first few batches of frozen fries came out like sad little sticks, then one day I actually read the manual and gave it the 5 minutes. Night and day difference, now everything gets that hot start and it actually cooks evenly. You were doing the right thing caving in, your sister saved your chicken.

Honestly, my buddy refused to preheat his air fryer for months until his wife hid the manual.
