Hot take: most people are crowding their air fryer baskets way too full

I finally figured out why my chicken came out soggy for 6 months until I tried cooking half as much at once and it crisped up perfect, anyone else had to learn this the hard way?

Way too full" was basically my air frying life motto (and my chicken paid the price).

Way too full" - that's the thing though, sometimes empty space in the basket lets the hot air actually circulate better. Maybe the real hack is giving your food some breathing room, not cramming it in there.
