Was dead set against AI writing tools until a beta reader called me out

I used to think AI writing assistants were cheating, plain and simple. I'm a writer for a small marketing firm here in Portland and I prided myself on doing everything from scratch. Then a beta reader I respect a lot told me my product descriptions sounded robotic. She said they had no flow, like I was just stuffing keywords. That stung because I was trying so hard to be original. So I tried using ChatGPT to rewrite one paragraph with more natural phrasing. Took the structure it gave me and tweaked it heavily. Now I use AI as a first draft buddy instead of an enemy. Has anyone else had a moment where feedback made them totally flip on using AI?

Robotic product descriptions" hits hard. I read a study that said readers can spot AI in 3 seconds.
