Vent: My AI meeting notes butchered a client's name 6 times
Trusted an AI transcription tool for Tuesday's session notes with a new client, Marisol. Out of 40 minutes, it wrote Marisol as 'Mary Sol' three times and then 'Marisol?' with a question mark like it wasn't sure. I spent an hour fixing timestamps and quotes before sending her the recap. These tools are hyped as time savers, but I still have to check every single line. Has anyone found a transcription service that actually handles uncommon names without constant babysitting?
