Spent 6 hours trying to get a basic AI image generator to output a simple cat drawing

Turns out the prompt needed a specific lighting term I never heard of, has anyone else run into weird prompt tricks like that?

Three days I spent on "a cat in a garden" and turns out the AI needed "volumetric fog" and "golden hour" before it would give me anything but a blob with whiskers... Real smart of the machine to just ignore "bright sunny afternoon" like that didn't mean anything to it. Now I keep a sticky note on my monitor with like 20 random photography terms I've never used in my life. It's basically a secret language where you have to trick the computer into doing what you asked in plain english.

Ugh yes, this is way too real. I spent like an hour trying to get a picture of a fluffy orange cat and nothing worked until someone told me to add "rembrandt lighting" to the prompt like that was just obvious knowledge. Now I have a whole notes file on my phone of random lighting terms and camera angles I had to look up. It's wild how specific the wording has to be, like the AI just ignores plain English and waits for some magic keyword.
