Hot take: my resume screener went from 45 minutes a night to 4 after I let a tool do the first pass
I used to read every resume myself at the kitchen table in Omaha, usually 30 to 40 of them a night, and it ate most of my evenings. Two months ago I started running them through a sorting tool that flags keywords and years of experience, and now I just look at the ones it pulls up, which is about 20 minutes on a busy night. But I keep wondering if I'm missing good people who just wrote their resume odd, so how do you all check that your screening tool isn't quietly dropping folks?
