Hot take: I traded my manual transcription work for AI voice-to-text and I'm not looking back
I used to spend like 6 hours a week typing up interview notes from my field research for a local nonprofit in Denver. Around 3 months ago I started using Otter.ai to auto-transcribe everything and I barely touch a keyboard now for that stuff. The accuracy is around 95% even with people talking over each other. Has anyone else found a decent alternative for noisy environments?

Wait, are you saying that tool actually handles people talking over each other at 95% accuracy? I've been avoiding voice-to-text because my interviews always have people interrupting and overlapping.

That 95% claim is surprising, but I agree it sounds like a real solution to the overlapping problem if it works that well.
