Just realized my $15 thrift store rice cooker beats my $80 Amazon one hands down
Picked up a vintage Zojirushi from a Goodwill in Portland last weekend for $15, figured it'd be a fun experiment. Tbh, the rice comes out fluffier and never burns on the bottom like my newer model did. The old one even has a timer that clicks off way more reliably. Anyone else find that older kitchen gadgets just work better?

Ain't that the truth, man. I was stuck in the same loop for months, trying to force something that just wasn't happening. Finally I just stopped pushing so hard, backed off, and let it come to me instead. That's when things finally started clicking.
