Spent 3 years building backlinks wrong before a competitor called me out on it
Was buying those cheap directory links from Fiverr until a guy in my niche emailed me asking if I was trying to tank my own site, and after checking my backlink profile I saw 500 spam domains pointing at my homepage.

Nah I used to think directory sites were just a waste of time. But after watching a couple of my own listings sit there dead for months I realized they can actually pull some weight if you pick the right ones. Its not about getting on every single site, its about finding the ones where your customers actually look.
