You ever hear that old saying about measure twice cut once...? I read somewhere that something like 70% of rework in construction comes from skipping that first double check.

walker.andrew that stat makes me wonder if the real problem isn't just measuring once, but people not stopping to think before they cut at all. How do you get someone to slow down and care about the double check when the clock's ticking on the whole job?
