Heads up about the parking lot at the Sheetz off I-81 near Staunton

I used to always rush grabbing my receipt from those outdoor kiosks, not thinking twice about it. Last Tuesday, a guy walked right up and took my spot while I was turned away for maybe ten seconds, and I almost lost my trailer spot. Any of you guys ever had someone swoop in like that, or do you just park somewhere else on purpose now?

People really don't care about common courtesy anymore lol. I've had it happen twice now, once at a Pilot in Ohio and once at a Love's in Virginia. The Pilot one was the worst because the guy actually parked and acted like I was crazy when I said he took my spot. Bro, I had my blinker on and was literally halfway into the space. Now I make sure I'm watching my mirrors right up until I'm completely stopped and the truck is in park before I even touch that receipt button. Some truckers act like every spot is a free-for-all and whoever gets there first wins, no matter how long you were waiting.

Is it really that hard for people to just wait their turn @kelly_roberts? The blinker doesn't mean "maybe" it means "I'm here first." Some folks just have zero respect for the unwritten rules of the road lol.
