That $35 magnetic phone mount I bought for my work truck saved my sanity during a 3-hour delivery route detour in Dallas
Wires kept tangling and my phone slid off the dash twice before I finally caved on this thing, and now I actually get GPS directions without wanting to throw the whole setup out the window has anyone else had a cheap dash accessory totally fix a daily work headache

Oh wait, you said it’s magnetic, right? I mean, if your phone slid off the dash twice before, maybe the magnet isn’t actually strong enough for that phone or your case. I had a similar issue with a cheap one where the magnet barely held my iPhone with a thin case, and it would wobble off on bumpy roads. The ones with a metal plate you stick on the back or inside the case usually work better for that kind of heavy duty driving. You might want to check if your case is too thick or if the mount’s adhesive is just weak on a textured dash.
