Deleted Instagram 3 days ago and already feel the difference
I was scrolling through stories during my lunch break at work and my coworker asked me a question. I didn't hear her at all because I was too focused on some random video. That moment really hit me hard like how often am I missing real life stuff? Now I just keep my phone in my locker during breaks and actually talk to people. Has anyone else caught themselves ignoring someone because of a stupid reel?

Damn, that's real. I've definitely done the same thing where someone's talking to me and I'm just nodding along while watching something stupid. It's wild how those little moments can just disappear like that.

Not sure I'd call it "wild" exactly. It's more like just being a little absent minded, happens to everyone. The thing is, those moments don't really disappear, you just choose not to remember them because they weren't important at the time. If you really think about it later, you can usually piece back together what was happening.
