Found a silver dime from 1943 in a parking lot crack last Tuesday
I was walking out of the Walmart in Tulsa and saw something glint in a crack near the curb. Bent down and pulled out a 1943 Mercury dime, looks like it's been stepped on a hundred times but you can still read the date. Never found anything that old just walking around before, usually it's pennies or bottle caps. Does anyone else randomly spot coins in parking lots or am I just weird for always looking down?

You ever notice how some people have this weird luck sensing thing? My friend Kevin found a 1950s wheat penny in a puddle at a QuikTrip gas station once. It was all corroded but still had that copper color. He carries it in his wallet for good luck, even though it's probably worth like 25 cents.

Wait, @grant.luna, isn't a 1950s wheat penny actually worth a bit more than 25 cents in decent shape? Even corroded ones can fetch a few bucks if the date is readable.
