Used to think handwashing dishes was a waste of time until I moved into a place with no dishwasher
For like 8 years I lived in apartments with dishwashers and never questioned them. Ran everything through, even cast iron pans (yeah I know now lol). Then I moved into this old house in Pittsburgh back in March and the kitchen is tiny, no dishwasher at all. First week I was miserable about it. But after a few months I actually prefer it now. I can get a whole sink of dishes done in 10 minutes instead of waiting for a cycle. And weird thing is I use way less water. Has anyone else made the switch and felt the same or am I just coping?

Cast iron pans in the dishwasher" is the point where I stopped reading, honestly you're just coping hard.

Hannah coming in hot over some cast iron, damn. It's really not that deep, people act like you committed a crime against cookware or something.
