My 'lifetime' rain gutter guards failed after just 2 winters
I installed those mesh gutter guards from a big box store back in fall of 2021. Paid about $400 for the whole setup thinking I'd never clean gutters again. By last March, water was pouring over the sides during a heavy rain and I found pine needles actually stuck through the mesh holes. Had to pull them all off, clean out 5 years' worth of sludge underneath, and now I'm back to climbing a ladder every November. Anyone have a brand that actually stops maple seeds and pine needles from getting through?
You really dropped 400 bucks on mesh and expected it to hold up? That's like buying a paper towel to clean up a flood. For that money you could have bought a whole new router or a bunch of burritos. Mesh systems are great for coverage but they are not built like tanks. My buddy spent 300 on one and it started acting up in like a year. I hope you at least got a good warranty on that thing.
