Overheard a guy at Home Depot complain about his laser level being off by 1/16th over 20 feet

That little revelation made me realize I've been eyeballing level for years and probably have a bunch of crooked shelves and cabinets that I never noticed.

Honestly I don't think it's that serious lol. A 16th off over 20 feet is basically nothing unless you're building something super precise like a pool table or something. Your shelves are probably fine, nobody is measuring your crooked cabinets with a laser level.

lol nah cmon Mila, you're kinda underselling this. A 16th off over 20 feet sounds small but that's like 20 minutes of angle off level. If you're hanging cabinets or putting in a long countertop, that adds up to gaps you can totally see with your bare eyes. I've been in enough friends' kitchens where you can spot a crooked run of cabinets from across the room. It's not the end of the world, but it's not "nothing" either, especially if you're paying someone to do it.
