Standing in the returns line at Target in Phoenix for 20 minutes made me realize I should just buy stuff on Amazon and skip the headache
My wife says Amazon is killing local shopping but I swear I wasted half a Saturday returning a blender that didn't work, and now I'm torn between supporting stores and not losing my whole weekend - does anyone else feel this guilt or am I just being dramatic?

Target on a Saturday should honestly come with a free drink for how long they make you stand there. I get the whole "support local" thing but my time is worth more than a four hour return trip for a blender that won't spin. You're not being dramatic, just realistic about how shopping actually works these days.

Do you actually go to Target that often? Because I do and I've never had a return take more than 10 minutes. Maybe it's just the Phoenix location being a mess, but there are two Targets near me and both have a separate returns counter that moves pretty quick. I get that Amazon is convenient, but you drive to a store, pick up what you need, and if it's broken you swap it out right there instead of waiting for a refund to hit your card. That blender you returned? You had it in hand the same day. With Amazon you're looking at a two day wait minimum unless you want to pay for overnight.
