My old boss told me I made coffee too strong and now I measure every scoop

After he dumped out a full pot right in front of me at the shop on a Monday morning, I switched to a scale and now I won't eyeball a single damn thing, anyone else get wrecked by feedback that simple?

Lean into it - measuring by volume is actually way more consistent than weight for coffee, since bean density varies by roast. Honestly, your old boss might have done you a favor by forcing you to standardize your recipe.
