My fancy air fryer turned my frozen pizza into a charcoal brick in 8 minutes flat
Got one of those $80 digital air fryers as a gift last week, threw in a store brand pizza at 400 degrees like it said. Came out blacker than my ex's heart and the smoke alarm went off three times. Anyone else get burned by these things or did I just pick the wrong temp?

Wait, did you preheat it first or just toss it in cold?

Respect the struggle, I've been there. The last time I tried this I was in a rush and just threw it in cold like a dummy. Ended up with this weird rubbery outside and a raw center. Really felt like a personal failure in the kitchen at that moment. Hope yours came out better than mine did.
