Serious question about that I-95 pileup in Connecticut last month

I watched two dashcam videos of the same wreck, one from a car at the front and one from a car way back in line. The difference in what they saw unfold was insane, like two completely different crashes. Anyone else notice how much your vantage point changes what you think caused the whole thing?

Oh man, that's a wild observation! Do you think people in the front cars are more likely to blame someone further back, while the back cars always point to the front?

@lunaw72 that's exactly what I was thinking. The front car video showed someone brake checking, but the back car video made it look like the person in front just slowed down normally. One pileup, two totally different stories on whose fault it was. Vantage point basically decides who you blame before you even know the facts.
