Question about why my stress ball suddenly started squeaking like a toy

I was squeezing it to relax during a tough day, and now it sounds like a dog chew toy, which just makes me laugh instead of calming down.

Well that's hilarious. At least it's still doing its job in a weird way, since laughing is pretty good for stress too. Guess you got a two-for-one deal.

You ever notice how half the stuff meant to make life easier just adds a new hassle? Like smart lights that need an app that never works right, or a meditation app that pings you with ten notifications. It's all trying to fix one stress but ends up giving you a different kind, kinda like noise that's supposed to cover other noise. We keep adding more layers instead of just turning things off.
