Found a bootleg VHS of a lost 90s kids show at a flea market in Ohio

I was digging through a bin of old tapes outside Cleveland last Saturday and spotted a faded label that said 'Space Pals - Episode 4.' Nobody I know has ever heard of this show, and I can't find any mention of it online. Popped it in when I got home and the quality is rough, but the animation looks like it might be some forgotten Canadian production from 1993. Any other hunters ever run into a random tape that turned out to be something nobody remembered?

Oh man, that's wild. My buddy Dave found something similar at a thrift store near Akron a few years back - a beat-up VHS of something called "Captain Cosmo's Playhouse" that had this super creepy puppet host. Turns out it was a local access show that only aired on a single station in Toledo for like six months in 1994. He digitized it and put it up, and apparently it's become this cult thing now with people who grew up there.

Wait, did he find it in Akron or Toledo? Because I swear I found the exact same thing at a Goodwill in Canton like two years ago. It was this washed out VHS tape with no label, just "Captain Cosmo" written in sharpie on the side. I watched it and it was this dude in a cheap spaceship costume with a puppet that looked like it was made from a mop and some googly eyes. The puppet kept singing this weird song about "moon cheese" and it got stuck in my head for a week. @jamiew83, tell your buddy Dave he's not alone in the creepy puppet rabbit hole.
