The week my neighbor's lawyer letter actually worked in my favor

Got a cease and desist from my HOA over a trailer I kept parked on my driveway for 3 days, so I looked up the exact rule and found it only applies to commercial vehicles under 10,000 pounds - my personal trailer weighs 8,800 on paper. Has anyone else fought an HOA with their own rules and won?
