I read somewhere that some of these PDF contracts are actually longer than the US Constitution now. It makes you wonder if they're hiding things on purpose or just copying from some template they found online. I remember when a handshake and a yellow pad were enough for most business deals around here. All that fine print just makes my eyes glaze over.

Honestly used to roll my eyes at people who complained about boilerplate contracts, but @violafox makes a solid point about them being longer than the Constitution. That's a real red flag when you think about it.
