Hit one hundred deliveries in a single day for the first time yesterday
I was just trying to grind through a busy Tuesday in my usual zone around Dallas, and the app kept pinging me with back to back orders. Before I knew it, I checked my stats at like 8pm and saw I had done 101 deliveries that day. I never even thought about hitting three digits because my average is usually around 70 on a heavy day. The craziest part was my car only had half a tank left when I started, and I didn't even stop for gas because every order route kept me moving in a tight loop. My back is still sore this morning from all the getting in and out, but seeing that number pop up felt like a real milestone for how efficient I can be. Has anyone else here broken their personal record by accident like that?

Man, I once drove 40 miles out of my way for a burrito because the app glitched and I still think about that wasted gas.

Everyday life is full of these little traps. The sunk cost thing is real. You drive that far because you already committed mentally. Same vibe as paying for a yearly gym membership then forcing yourself to go even when you hate it. Or finishing a bad book just because you're 100 pages in. The gas money is gone but the memory sticks around to haunt you.

Is it really that deep though? Sometimes I think we overthink these little things way too much. You drove 40 miles for a burrito, it didn't work out, you move on.
