My kids treat my desk like a snack bar during zoom calls

I do freelance web design and keep having to mute myself when they barge in with food requests. It makes me look unprofessional to clients. Anyone found a way to keep little ones out of the home office without a lock?

Question if your clients REALLY mind those quick mute moments. Most people get that home offices come with kid chaos now. Your work quality counts more than a silent backdrop.

Wyatt put a stop sign on his actual door. That is next level. Mitchell.nancy is right about people being cool with noise, but a visual cue feels different. I might try the sign thing too.
