That one time we cooled molds with a garden hose and a prayer
Honestly, before we had proper chill systems, we'd just spray the molds with whatever water was around. Tbh, I remember this summer day when the hose burst and soaked half the floor, nearly causing a steam explosion. Ngl, it was a close call that had us all laughing from nerves. Now, with controlled cooling units, it's a lot safer, but boy, those old methods were something else. Kind of a funny memory now that no one got hurt.

But those old methods were pretty dangerous, @taylorb94.

You know, it's wild how much we used to just wing it with stuff like that! I see the same kind of make-do attitude all the time now, just with different things. My old car's check engine light was on for a year because I kept fixing it with guesses and google, not a real scanner. Or using a stack of books as a monitor stand instead of just buying one. We get so used to the janky fix that the proper tool feels like a luxury even when it's way safer.
