Wasted $900 on a house with a "kitchen" that had no counter space

I toured a flip in north Dallas last week where the kitchen was just a tiny galley with the sink right next to the fridge... no counters at all, just a 2-foot strip by the stove. I almost put in an offer before I realized you'd have to prep food on the toilet lid across the hall. Has anyone else seen a floor plan where the designer clearly never cooked a meal?

prep food on the toilet lid across the hall" - man, that got me. I looked at a house once where they turned what should've been a pantry into a half bath, so the kitchen had zero storage and the bathroom door opened right into the fridge. Like, you'd have to close the bathroom to get a gallon of milk. I'm convinced some flippers just look at Pinterest boards and go "oh that's cute" without ever boiling pasta in their lives. It's a special kind of madness, honestly.

It’s just a symptom of people choosing LOOKS over function in every part of life now.
