PSA: That open concept house in Denver with the toilet right off the kitchen.

I looked at a listing in Denver where the floor plan had the toilet door opening directly into the kitchen island, no hallway or wall in between. My realtor laughed it off as 'efficient', but I measured and the toilet was literally 3 feet from the stove. Has anyone else seen a layout so bad it made you walk out mid-tour?

Gotta say, that made me actually cringe when I read it. I toured a place in Boulder last year where the bathroom door swung open and practically hit the kitchen table, like you could reach out and touch the toilet from your cereal bowl. It was one of those "modern" layouts but it just felt like nobody actually thought about living there. I noped out of there pretty fast, no way I could handle that kind of setup. Seriously, some designers need to live in their own creations for a week or two.
