Bathroom inside the kitchen? That listing in Phoenix had me scratching my head
I checked out a house for sale near 7th Street and McDowell last weekend and the floor plan had the toilet right next to the stove. No wall, no door, just a toilet sitting there between the counter and the fridge. My friend says it's just bad design but I think the builder must've run out of space. What do you all think - is this ever acceptable or is it always a disaster?

That "cat on the toilet" story honestly made me rethink open bathrooms lmao.

Buddy of mine once toured a house in Mesa where the bathroom was basically a closet off the kitchen, and he opened the door mid-tour to find the homeowner's cat sitting on the toilet seat like it owned the place. He said the whole vibe was so weird he couldn't even focus on the rest of the house after that. So yeah, unless you're planning on cooking dinner while someone's doing their business, that's a hard pass.
