Shoutout to the $60 stud finder that saved my kitchen shelf project

I was putting up some heavy shelves last month and almost drilled into a pipe. My old magnet trick failed, so I bit the bullet and bought a digital stud finder. It showed me exactly where the wires and pipes were behind the drywall. That one buy kept my wall and my weekend from getting wrecked. What's a tool you bought that you now can't live without?

Almost drilled into a pipe once too. That sinking feeling is the worst. Good call getting the right tool.
