Yeah I used to hate getting my brother's old stuff, felt like a punishment. But having to work with those weird fit issues and outdated colors actually taught me how to alter things properly, like taking in denim or adding patches to a blazer. Those limits made me way more creative than just buying a new blank slate ever could.
