I thought using thrift store curtains for fabric was a terrible idea until I tried it

Found some heavy cotton drapes for 5 bucks at Goodwill and made a structured jacket that actually holds its shape. Anyone else found a weird fabric source that worked out better than expected?

Had a buddy once who stumbled onto some obscure forum about vintage radio restoration from a random YouTube comment thread. He wasn't even into radios, but he ended up finding a guy there who sold him a rare Beatles bootleg vinyl for like twenty bucks. Now he's got a whole side collection of weird music he never would've known existed.
