Just saw a stat about hoof abscesses that really caught me off guard
I was reading an old study from the University of Kentucky's vet school and it said nearly 70% of lameness cases they see in horses start as a hoof abscess. I always knew they were common, but that number is way higher than I thought. Has anyone else come across this, or do your experiences line up with that figure?
